The first international rider to medal in XG MTX Freestyle, Switzerland's Rebeaud earned silver in 2008. Rebeaud was at the forefront of the European freestyle scene and captured the European IFMXF points series in both '05 and '06 before working his way onto an even bigger stage. He won the Red Bull X-Fighters series in 2008 and made the podium at two stops in 2009 (3rd Calgary, 2nd Texas), proving he is one of the best riders in the world. After breaking his right arm in March 2010, Rebeaud had to take a break from the competition scene for two months, but he returned at the end of June at the third X-Fighters stop in Moscow.
