The BMC Racing Team claimed cycling's biggest prize in 2011 with leader Cadel Evans overcoming a 57-second deficit in the race's penultimate stage--an individual time trial--and catapulting him to the top step of the Tour de France podium. Evans also earned a stage win on Stage 4 of the race, while teammate george Hincapie tied a tour de France record with his 16th career participation.
The BMC Racing Team is a United States-registered UCI Pro Team headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif., and title sponsored by Switzerland-based bicycling manufacturer BMC.
