Convenience meets confidence with Bell’s all-new Revolver modular helmet. By harnessing the design horsepower of the marquee Bell Star and the extensive R&D know-how of Bell’s Santa Cruz, Calif. engineering team, we’ve made a flip-up that’s as beautiful as it is functional.
One look and it’s easy to see the family resemblance—the new school shaping and contours that are the signature of the Star (as well as the value-minded Vortex and new mid-line RS-1) are clearly evident and functional in the Revolver.
Like its siblings, the Revolver features Bell’s Velocity Flow Ventilation system to usher cooling air through the helmet. The system’s use of precisely-placed flow separator combined with its truncated shape make for an inherently stable aerodynamic signature. The Revolver includes modular-specific features like the integrated internal Sun Shade—a short, dark shield independent of the main shield—which drops down with the flick of a lever to fight bright sunlight. A robust, easy-to-actuate button opens the Revolver’s mechanism allowing the chinbar to flip up. The helmet also uses the world’s quickest, easiest-to-use shield changing system—Bell’s ClickRelease—allowing the option of more than a dozen tints, including the astounding Transitions SOLFX photochromic shield.Specifications

ClickRelease was designed for the quickest, easiest shield swaps ever. To remove, simply fully open the shield and depress the ClickRelease Triggers. For installation, just align shield pivots in the fully open position and push until they click into place. Done.
-
Contour Cut Cheekpads for superior fit and comfort. By curve cutting the cheekpads instead of bending a linear pad, the helmet has a more natural, comfortable feel on the face and cheeks.

Quality: Price: Value: I purchased the Bell Revolver helmet about 4 months ago. It is a great helmet, none of my friends even realized that it was a modular helmet til I flipped it up. It is that sport/aggressive looking. It has mild wind noise which is to be expected because it's not a full face. Also, I have noticed that since the helmet sticks out rather far in front of your mouth, you do get some up draft onto your chin and can get a little chilly on a cool 45 degree day. Also, the vents on the top of the helmet like to come open every once and a while due to a lack of spring tension. And last but not least aerodynamics, this helmet is great all the way up to 125 which is the fastest I have ever gone. There is no lift to the back of the helmet in the full tuck. However, when looking left or right in the sit up position, the helmet does like to try and spin itself around your face. If I would have done over again I would have gotten the full face helmet just because I never use the flip up feature, and I didn't know that it was a modular. In saying that I am not in the least bit disappointed in this helmet. It is a great product that functions VERY well.

Quality: Price: Value: "I purchased my Bell Revolver to replace my Scorpion EXO 900. The first occasion I had to use it was on the 9/11 Escort Ride from Richmond Indiana to Indianapolis, Indiana with over 11 thousand bikes that stretched over 50 miles...in the rain!
We rode over in the morning in 43 degree weather and the Revolver proved to be a great cold weather helmet, I never even thought about the cold with it on and at 70 mph in the cold it was quiet and comfortable with just a bit of fogging...but with the conditions that day everyone's helmet was fogging.
Arriving in Richmond, Indiana we spent almost 3 hours in our rain suits and helmets in a heavy downpour and severe thunderstorms while we waited for the ride back to Indianapolis to begin. I was amazed at how well the Revolver kept the rain out..I was comfortably dry the whole time.
The rain was still falling at a moderate pace when we began the return trip and even in a steady rain at speeds up to 65 mph I remained dry (and so did one of my fellow riders who bought her Revolver Helmet upon my recommendation).
The storms passed along the way and the sun came out and that was when I was really impressed with the flip down face shield, it worked like a charm as we headed West into the sun. It was one of the longest days I have ever spent in a helmet, mostly because it was such good protection from the rain, even when we were stopped, and I was never uncomfortable in the Revolver helmet.
I'd say it passed it's baptism under fire with very high marks. I am totally satisfied with it and I can recommend this helmet to everyone who is interested in it."
